In a land between the ocean, filled with luscious and exotic plants and animals, lived a young girl amongst them. She lived where the land meets the sea; dreams to go where the sun dips into the water. She is a reflection of mother nature. Her big chestnut-coloured eyes, beautiful, and fierce like that of a coyote's eyes. Hair as black as a pure velvet night. Her skin was dusky with freckles all over like the stars in the sky. She smells like nature. For her, that island is her home, the trees her guardians, the animals her family. As she is the only man on that island, she knows not to read and write. One day she went towards the shore, she saw a mysterious object. It was a bottle with a message. The bottle was beautiful, with a long neck and a cork in it. She took that to her place, wondering what that it was. She was very curious to know what was that shiny, crystal-like thing. She took that mysterious object to where she lived. Kept it with her all day. At night, a sudden wind hit the bottle and it shattered into pieces. The sheet from the bottle flew toward her feet. It felt soft, unlike the rough surfaces of the wood or rocks. She liked the paper's smell; it smelled different from the smell of wet soil and ocean. There was no one who could read the message on the sheet. The girl kept the paper safe as she felt a strange attachment to it. She felt that paper meant something special. She treasured it. As days go by she waits near the shore, hoping for something to appear. And for sure, somewhere in the world, someone is hoping to get a reply to that message. But no one knows what was written in that paper.
