What is the first thing that you remember when you hear the word nature? What I remember...

The smell of the Earth after the rain, the breathtaking views of the valleys in my home town, the brisk of the air which fills my lungs, the orange light of the sunset that dazzlingly hits the sea, the heavenly sunrise which warms my heart and gives me a new hope every day. And much more emotions are indescribable. Something that brought me closer to nature was my college. The best way to describe my college is as "the one with nature" I have made many beautiful memories in the college, and each memory is linked with nature. I yet remember the time when my team and I were tired after hours of practice; the crisp autumn wind filled our exhausted bodies with life. The auditorium is the place that gave me confidence and gave birth to a new me. I have never felt alone in college; in fact, I was never alone, the wind, the birds, the leaves, the insects' everything gave me comfort and joy. I learned to be happy even with the smallest thing. If you notice, everything we have today, be it food, water, metals, rocks, the light, we get all these originated from nature herself. When I say we get everything from nature, it is the warmth, the life on the planet, the clothes we wear, the house we stay in, and much more. I want to see everything present in nature; I want to see much more than what I have seen, although to see a plant is enough to make me joyful. I feel blessed to see nature because I doubt my future generations will be fortunate enough to even see a tree.

STORY:

There was a big tree that was proud of its majestic size. He considered everyone else inferior to him.  He claimed himself as the king of the place. He never allowed any birds to sit on him, nor let any animals climb on. Everyone started to hate him for his attitude. If he was angry, he would throw twigs and branches on the ground hurting the grass and insects. When he felt thirsty, he would ask the clouds to shower rain on him. And if he felt hot, he would ask the cloud to cover him from the sunlight. As days passed by, the tree started to become more controlling and greedy. He wanted everything for himself, the rain, the light, the wind, everything. To look more beautiful, he forces the climbers to climb on him.  The cloud decided to make the tree realize his mistake and teach him a lesson. The cloud, along with the grass and sun, decided to play a small game with him. They made a plan. The cloud moved far away from the tree, the sun mercilessly made the tree feel hot, and the grass took up most of the nutrients from the soil, leaving very little quantity for the tree. They ensured that they would not cause much harm to the tree in any form. For the first two days, nothing happened. But as days passed by, the tree started to become weak and tired. He cried for help but, no one turned their back to help him. He began to realize his mistake and understood that he was taking everyone for granted. He apologized to everyone, and slowly everyone came to help him. He learned to live in harmony with others. He respected everyone around him. And thus, learned not to disrespect others based on their size.
